Light Spring is the gentlest spring: light hair, soft warm eyes, fair skin with a warm glow. Light, warm, slightly clear colors flatter you; deep or heavy tones overwhelm. Value matters most here, so keep things in the lighter half.
Think soft peach, buttercream, light warm green, sky, light camel: color you could wear in morning light. Pair with paper-cream rather than white, and keep black and any dark, saturated block of color away from the face.
How to wear it
Keep the whole outfit in the lighter half of the palette: a Soft Peach or Buttercream tee with paper-cream trousers, Light Green or Sky against light camel. Two light warm colors worn together look considered rather than pale.
Your darks are accents, not anchors: soft navy in a jacket, warm tan in suede, both kept away from the face. A light-wash jean is the most useful trouser in the palette, and off-white sneakers beat bright white.
What to skip
Black, charcoal, and any heavy block of saturated color, which overwhelm light coloring instantly. Skip stark white as well; it is cooler than it looks, and Paper or Buttercream does the same job warmly.
Close calls
Light Spring sits one step from Light Summer: the same lightness, cool instead of golden. If silver and rosy tones flatter you, look there. If your coloring takes more saturation than this palette offers, step up to True Spring.
